A Girl Called Love was recorded in 1990 at Broken Toys (Brisbane). Released on 7" vinyl the song was described by Rolling Stone as "an instant classic". Written and sung by Sean Sennett, the single was recorded by Leroy Bath: the band featured Sean Greg Young (guitar), Mark Purchase (bass) and Peter Acton (drums). Sean also played guitar. Backed by the Escalator Blues, this is Sean Sennett's first recording.
